Spring. It’s finally here. After a winter of freezing temperatures, shoveling snow and trying to bundle up even indoors – the warm weather has finally begun. I couldn’t wait to get out in my garden. My husband, being just as excited, came home with potting soil and new flowers for the front yard. We didn’t waste any time getting out in the sunshine to plant our flowers.

After we were done wI needed something cool to refresh me, so I made a big glass of International Delight Iced Coffee with milk. It was perfect and really hit the spot. It cooled me off and provided a great pick-me-up to keep working on other areas of the yard.

Not only did my cold glass of International Delight Mocha Iced Coffee make my gardening day better – it made it possible. You may remember my article about how I was on a mission to save money by drinking International Delight instead of my usual trips to our local coffee shop. Typically I’d spend $4 – $5 per visit and I usually stopped by 4 – 5 days a week. That’s a lot of money spent on coffee. During this time I’ve made a trip to Florida and I found myself missing my International Delight when I was buying cafe coffee at the airport. It was almost painful to hand over the cash to buy a cup. I kept thinking to myself,

“I can get an entire half gallon of International Delight Iced Coffee for the same price as this one cup.”

I admit, when I first started this project I knew I liked the International Delight brand (their creamers are amazing!), but I didn’t really see myself completely giving up my coffee house ritual for a store bought replacement. Now that I put all the advantages together: great taste, great value for the size and saving so much money each month…I can’t see a good reason NOT to switch.
