Recipes for National Slow Cooker Month

January is National Slow Cooker Month! I can’t think of a better time to warm up with a steaming meal made the easy way: in a crock pot! slow cooker, also known as a Crock-Pot or Slo-Cooker, is a countertop electrical cooking appliance that is used for simmering, which requires maintaining a relatively low temperature compared to other cooking methods (such as baking, boiling, and frying) for many hours. [1] Years ago not many dishes were created for slow cooking outside of roasts and stews. But, with new recipes popping up every day, there is no limit to what you can do.

Here is a round up of some slow cooking recipes sure to keep you warm this winter. Find some time to plug it in, stir it up and relax while your crock pot does the rest! You deserve a break.
