Before Christmas I shared with you about the newest option when shopping for holiday gifts at JCPenney – The Secret Santa QR Tag. As a selected member of the Mom Central campaign I was given the opportunity to select a surprise gift for a fellow blogger and, in return, become the recipient of a different Secret Santa as well. You’re probably thinking, “You were suppose to tell us about the gifts on Christmas Eve!” and you’re absolutely right. But, it turns out that my Secret Santa has such good taste that the gift was sold out! I had to wait because it was on back order. After much anticipation – it’s finally here!

What I Sent

I was able to play Secret Santa to Annie at MamaDweeb and send her a stylish cardigan to keep her warm this season. If you need info on anything from the newest tech gadget to blogging tips – this gal has got it covered. I’m a total geek when it comes to technology and the internet so she never ceases to amaze me with her extensive knowledge of all things ‘web’.

What I Received

My Secret Santa was Christine from The Menu Mom. Getting a great gift is always awesome, but it was made even more personal when I was able to scan my included QR code and hear Christine wishing me a Merry Christmas.

Christine Steendahl – “The Menu Mom” has been helping families with meal planning since March, 2005. Her specialty is in traditional home style menus for busy families – featuring easy to prepare recipes the entire family will enjoy. She runs three menu planning websites including: Dine Without Whine,  Menu Planning Central , and Kid Approved Meals.  Her weekly menus with categorized grocery shopping lists help bring busy families organization, time & money savings, and ultimately back to the family dinner table.
