“What are Sniffle Buddies“ – They’re high quality wristbands made with bamboo velour (70% viscose from organic bamboo / 28% organic cotton / 2% poly) thatwere created to assist allergy-prone toddlers during playtime. Sniffle Buddies give toddlers a target to utilize and create “mindful” wiping. If they’re wearing Sniffle Buddies during playtime our experience has been, they’ll choose that to wipe on. If they’re not wearing one, they’ll mindlessly wipe wherever it’s convenient and keep playing.

Bamboo Fabric is Healthful

Bamboo is said to possess a property called “Bamboo Kun” which means that it is said to be naturally anti-microbial. (According to Japan Textile Inspection Association & China Textile Industry Testing Center). Their tests showed that even through processing into fabric and after fifty washes, bamboo fabrics retain their anti-fungal, anti-bacterial nature.

The Review

I actually approached SniffleBuddies and asked to promote this product. My 18 month old son is a constant allergy-prone sniffler. I confess it to the world. I was tired of snot going everywhere: pillows, face, fingers, his shirt, my shirt…the list goes on and on. Wiping constantly with even the softest tissue always made his nose sore and red. After a while his nose hurt enough that he’d run away every time he saw me grab another tissue. I had no idea how to avoid it. Then I saw SniffleBuddies online. I contacted them the same day – I knew there were so many other moms and dads who had allergy toddlers and probably hadn’t heard of this solution yet. SniffleBuddies was more than happy to connect with me and share this oh-so-cool must have nose helper.

I was sent the toddler size in mint green (my son’s favorite color!) and was immediately pleased with how super soft it is. It reminds me of a fancy bathrobe from a five star hotel. The color was great for either a girl or a boy and I couldn’t wait to show my son.

He absolutely loved it! He grabbed it out of my hands and rubbed it on his face. Finally I convinced him to give it back so that I could put it on his wrist. That sent him into a fit of smiles and giggles. He immediately rubbed it on his face again. After showing him how to wipe his nose with it – he wouldn’t stop. Even after his nose was snot-free he actually pretended to sneeze just so he could use his Sniffle Buddy!

But, being the human hurricane that he is, I couldn’t help but wonder how LONG he’d leave it on or if it would get in his way. Not a chance. Twenty minutes, and a snack, later….

…yep! Still there. And the nose was still being wiped and kept dry. He continued to wear and use it until bed time. He actually wanted to take it to bed, but mean ol’ mommy said no. His nose wasn’t sore or the slightest bit red.
