Rubydalmatian Jewelry is handcrafted using Vintage stones from all over the world. She loves to use Harlequin and or glass opals along with vintage Swarovski crystals; from as far back as the 1920′s to as current as the 1980′s. Some pieces are mixed media and can include more modern stones ( always detailed in description). Most components are made from brass or pewter and are plated in gold, silver, antiqued finish. All ear wires are nickel free. She’s happy to take price offers, everything is negotiable…just ask!

I was first drawn to the amazing colors used in the RubyDalmatian collection. Brilliant greens, bright ambers, and cheerful oranges; this jewelry just makes you feel bright and cheerful. Hailing from the Blue Mountains of Australia, the RubyDalmation collection utilizes stones and sets from around the world. Everything from Czech stones to Japanese pearl beads. There is definitely something for everyone….maybe 2 or 3!

I was lucky enough to be sent a pair of the Vintage Aqua Sabrina Japan glass pearl silver earrings. They are absolutely lovely. As you can see from the photos, they are exactly as seen on the site. In fact, I found them to be even more delicate and translucent in person.

The craftsmanship is high quality; the fittings and hoops are strong and well polished. The gems and glass pearls are flawless and very eye catching. I have a high intolerance to nickel in jewelry (my skin turns a nasty shade of green and itches horribly) and these earrings caused no such problems when I wore them. They are also a perfect weight; a slight heaviness that lets you know the glass pearls are solid and the metal is pure, but light enough to not cause distress to your ears when worn all day.  What I love best about these earrings (and most of the RubyDalmatian collection, as well) is that you can just as easily wear them with your every day top and jeans as you can with your favorite cocktail dress for dinner out. I look forward to showing these earrings off for a very long time.
