I was lucky enough to receive my most favorite piece from the collection to review. The LIVE bracelet which stands as a beautiful and delicate reminder of those women who have, do, and will battle cancer. My family has both lost loved ones to cancer and had several survivors, myself included – so this piece was very special for me.

I wasn’t disappointed in the least; it is exceptionally made and I fear these photos don’t even begin to do it justice:

The first thing I noticed was how much the pink beads sparkled. They are very clear and reflective, yet with a nice light shade of true pink. I also greatly appreciated the weight of the bracelet. I prefer a bracelet that is heavy enough that I can actually feel on my wrist and hear the soft jingle when I move, but not so heavy that I get tired of wearing it. This bracelet was perfectly balanced in that aspect.

 

The charms are sterling silver (stamped) and hang flat no matter what angle you hold your arm. If you’ve ever stuck yourself or someone else with a wayward charm before, you understand how important a flat-lying charm can be. The decorative moon and star toggle clasp is not only a nice addition to the theme of the bracelet, but it’s also very easy to fasten by yourself with just one hand (hard to find with other toggle clasps).

 

The pinks are pretty yet subtle. If you like pink then you’ll love this mixture with the silver – but it’s nice that you don’t *have* to wear pink with it. I wore this out the first night after I received it. It went perfectly with my brown sweater and jeans.  It never got in the way or came close to being unclasped.

Attractive, functional, well made and meaningful. What more could you want in a bracelet? How about hand made and under $20? You got it.
