Pink n Blue Baby has been delivering beautiful and imaginative wall decals to homes around the country, much to the delight of parents and children alike. One look at their fabulous selection and the amazing creativity put into each design will have you falling in love with these decals. What child wouldn’t love an entire jungle on their bedroom wall? The owners of Pink n Blue Baby were wonderful enough to send me a decal of my own to try out in my 18 month old’s room. We received an adorable monkey hanging jauntily from a tropical tree branch and kept company by a little yellow bird. Since we call our little one ‘Monkey’ all the time it was very appropriate.

Your kit comes with almost everything you need:
- decals (on separate strips so they don’t all become a jumbled mess when you put them up)
- a print out of the final design (so you don’t forget where everything goes)
- a step by step instruction sheet (very easy to read)
- and a plastic flattening tool to assist in making the decal smooth and free of air pockets

Important Note: Read the directions completely before starting. Take special note of the fact that you do NOT leave the clear decal over the image after it’s applied.

The assembly itself wasn’t just easy. It wasn’t just quick. It was FUN.  The only additional tools you need are scissors and a roll of  removable tape. I used painter’s tape which worked perfectly. You use the tape to hold each section on the wall as you work from the top and then the bottom to separate and then apply the decal with your flattening tool.

 

I felt like I was putting a child’s puzzle together and actually enjoyed the whole process.  But, the best part was that it looked fantastic and once he saw it, my son smiled from ear to ear.

You can see how large these decals are – and this is one of the smaller ones! The quality is amazing – the lines are smooth and the color is true to the online examples. Each leaf , vine and animal was placed separately so I had complete control of how my decal was arranged. Once he grows out of his ‘monkey’ phase we can, just as quickly, peel it off without damaging the wall or paint. However….I love this little monkey! My son may have to have a monkey in his room even when he’s 12!
