The lovely ladies at Nature’s Basin sent me Weleda’s Almond Facial Oil to try out. After I hit my 30′s I developed very dry skin. No amount of moisturizing with department store lotions would fix it. Every day when I woke up my skin just looked the same: dull and flaky. After receiving the Weleda Almond Oil I followed my normal cleansing process each night but, instead of using the chemical filled moisturizers that line my cabinet shelves, I applied a small amount of Almond Facial oil. It doesn’t take much – just a dab on your fingertip. There is no perfume so don’t be alarmed by the slightly ‘earthy’ smell of the oil – that’s a fantastic sign that what you’re putting on your face is all natural. It absorbed well and didn’t leave my face feeling greasy like when I’d used pure vitamin E in the past. I also found it made a great foundation under my morning makeup and helped it apply smoothly and hold longer throughout the day.

By the third day I saw a noticeable difference: no more flaky skin. And my face had regained that dewy softness that I remember from *before* I was thirty-something.
