Bic, a trusted brand since 1950, has done it again with their new line of writing and stationary tools that provide not only durability, but also creative flair and eco-friendly manufacturing. Being an admitted office supply junkie I was thrilled to try out their newest items:
Glue sticks are where it’s at. With both a teen and a toddler in the house, I’m constantly sticking, tacking and assembling things for both school projects and home craft time. I’m already a fan of the staying power of BIC glue sticks, but the BIC Ecolutions Glue Stick has a dispenser that is made with 100% recycled plastic. Bonus! The BIC Ecolutions Glue Stick dries clear, and it is washable from many washable fabrics, providing easy clean up. In addition, the BIC Ecolutions Glue Stick is acid free, and photo safe for your favorite scrapbook or framing projects. It comes in three sizes and prices start at $1.56
The BIC 4-Color Grip Ballpoint Pen and the Velocity Bold ballpoint pens are perfect for that son in college or the husband in the office. The 4-Color Grip Pen comes in a single pack and the Velocity Bold is sold in mutipacks. Both perform perfectly with the Easy-Glide System®, BIC’s exclusive ink technology, for smoother writing and a more vivid line.
My favorite items were the BIC for Her retractable ball pens (2 pack in pink and purple) and the BIC Impressions mechanical pencils (multiple patterns in a 28-pack).
The BIC for Her pens are a work of art with deep pink and purple tones, soft grip for extended use and a scroll etched cone tip for added feminine flair. The writing is smooth and bold from the first use; like writing on glass. It’s now my favorite pen that I keep with me at all times. The Impressions Mechanical Pencils are, I must say, cute as a button. These aren’t your usual large pencils. Each one is decorated with brilliant colors and creative designs. The pencil itself is only 4.5″ from tip to eraser; perfect for keeping in your pocket or your purse. But don’t let the compact size fool you: each pencil comes with 200% more lead than the competition! My new mini-best friend.
