You may remember a recent guest post here on TheCaffeineCoquette from Nanostyle jewelry. Their contemporary collection is a beautiful range of pendants and rings in onyx and cubic zirconia jewelry that celebrates different faiths and beliefs. Nanostyle uses a unique method of imprinting the symbols and messages directly onto the stone with 24 kt gold.
The necklace or ring is delivered with a very nice keychain that holds a small magnifying glass so that you can read your stone’s inscription and share it with others.
As I’ve mentioned before, I am part of a split-faith household; my husband is Jewish and I am Christian. Our eldest son is a Christian and our youngest is being raised Jewish. It’s a wonderful combination of histories, culture and belief. Knowing this, Nanostyle asked me to review their MESSIANIC GRAFTED-IN PENDANT in silver on a sparkling amethyst cubic zirconia.
The symbol representing ‘grafting in’ intertwines the Christian symbol of the fish with the Star of David and the seven-branch candelabra signifying the re-emerging bond between Christianity and Judaism and completed with Paul’s teaching “Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in” Romans 11:19
The necklace is absolutely gorgeous and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the necklaces are crafted in Israel. The stone is a deep, rich purple with still enough sparkle to catch your eye. The inscription is dainty, yet noticeable. It has already sparked many conversations at gatherings where I’ve worn it. I especially like the detailed cutout work on the side of the pendant and the intricacy of the chain; which happens to be just the right length for just about any shirt I wear.
It’s a beautiful piece that I’ll treasure for a long time to come. It represents a connection between not only my family but of two history rich beliefs that have stood the test of time.
